Privacy policy

This policy covers Road to GOAT, published by Eucna, the developer name used by Thomas Bernards. Contact us at eucna.studio@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests.
Your device and saves
Careers and career history are saved locally on your device or in your browser. Accounts do not provide cloud saves. Signing out keeps local careers. Clearing app or browser data, or uninstalling the Android app, can erase them. Signing in on another device restores your account and online scores, not your saved career.
We do not receive a complete copy of your local career save. A career summary is transmitted for online rankings as described below.
Data used for online features
- Leaderboard summaries: career score, football statistics, position, simulated nationality, clubs, honours, career identifiers, submission time and game version. These support career rankings and score validation.
- Device credential: an app-generated private identifier links submissions to the device that owns them and allows management and deletion. It is not an advertising identifier.
- Optional accounts: email address, username, account identifier and friend code. Your email supports verification-code delivery and sign-in; the other fields support profiles, account-linked scores and friends.
- Friend connections: friend requests, accepted connections and blocks support the social features and access controls.
- Technical service records: our service providers may process connection information such as IP addresses, authentication records and email-delivery logs to operate and secure their services. Emailing support also provides your address and the contents of your request.
Guest gameplay is available without an email account. Optional account and friends features require the relevant information. Completed careers submit a leaderboard summary when online; queued submissions may retry after reconnecting.
What other players see
Public rankings display your chosen public username or an anonymous alias and the submitted football summary. Anonymous aliases still relate to a stored submission; they do not mean no data is collected.
Accepting a friend request shares your username and best submitted career summary with that friend, including scores outside the public top 50. Email addresses, sign-in codes, private device credentials and complete local saves are not shown to other players.
Providers and purposes
Supabase processes authentication and stores account, friendship and leaderboard records. Resend delivers sign-in emails. These providers process data to operate the features, deliver verification messages and protect the service. When you play through itch.io, itch.io also handles its own website, hosting and technical records under its policies.
Online app requests use HTTPS. No system can guarantee absolute security. Never send a sign-in code to another person or include it in a support request.
Road to GOAT does not currently collect session-length or retention analytics, run live advertising or sell account data. Career earnings are fictional gameplay statistics.
Retention and deletion
Account, friendship and submitted-career records remain until deleted. In the app, Profile → Delete account & local saves removes your account, friendships and linked leaderboard records and erases local careers on that device. Other devices' local saves are not remotely erased.
You can also request deletion through our web instructions without installing or opening the app. We verify ownership before acting so someone else cannot delete your account. Support messages are retained as needed to resolve your request and maintain a record of the response.
Restricted technical logs, service backups and security records may persist under provider retention policies. Deleted device credentials may be retained as non-public tombstones to prevent erased submissions being restored. We do not promise immediate removal from every backup.
Your choices and contact
You can play as a guest, choose whether to show your public name, manage or block friends, sign out, or request account/data deletion. For access, correction or other privacy questions, email eucna.studio@gmail.com. Do not post email addresses or sign-in codes in public game comments.
We may update this policy when features or data practices change. The date above identifies this version.
